Thank you to everyone that came out this week and continues to support Tucson Country Music and all of our live music choices around town. Our town has so much to offer. I also want to thank all the bands for warm receptions and the shout-outs I received for Tucson Country Music this week.

The new Tucson County Music Code of Conduct has already had a positive impact on the community as a whole. I truly appreciate everyone’s encouragement and great feedback.

Tuesday

Tuesday marked the return of Southern Reins band to Country dance night this week at Craft Republic. Once again they played to a packed house. These good ol boys from Southern Reins have true Cowboy Code. The next Tuesday Country Dance Night will be held at BarnFire Grill on Cortaro/Thornydale featuring the Clear Country band from 6-9PM. Look forward to seeing y’all there.

Wednesday

Wednesday started with Johnny and Jack from the 2 Lazy 2 Ranch band at Growlers Taphouse. Johnny and Jack sounded amazing and played to a lively crowd and a full bar. Always look forward to hearing this amazing duo.

Wednesday was spent at The Station listening to friends singing classic and country music favorites. It’s always a good time. Hope to see everyone back this week.

Thursday

Thursday night featured Mark Insley and Damon Barnaby at Iron John’s Brewing Company on Congress St. Mark and Damon were so amazing I had to stay for the entire show. Such a great atmosphere and amazing talent… there wasn’t a seat to be had. You can catch them again this week, same time same place.

Afterwards we stopped by the High 5 Grill to catch Karaoke with DJ Gator. I was pleased to be invited to join a few of the boys from Southern Reins as they sang a few of my favorites. So much fun!

Friday

Friday was a full night of Backroads Band at Bianchi’s Italian in Oro Valley. On thing’s for sure, wherever you find Backroads band you will find fun party. They held a crowd on the dance floor till the last song played. Looking forward to hearing BackRoads at Marana’s July 4th Spectacular and the after party at The Station.

Saturday

I enjoyed pre-gaming with some of my favorite people at Elliots for some amazing food & drink before heading to the East Side.

Saturday night was a full house at Eddie’s Cocktails for the debut of Unwound Band. This group of talented musicians is surely going to be seen around town. Watch closely to TucsonCountryMusic.com for announcements for when and where to find Unwound Band.

Sunday

Sunday I was invited to bloody mary Sunday which featured some of the best people and great food at Putney’s. So much fun hanging out and sharing stories with friends.

Hope everyone has a great week and we’ll see y’all on the dance floor!
