It’s come to my attention that there may be some confusion about what I do and why.

My goal for Tucson Country Music is to continue to build a credible platform that showcases our local talent and makes it easy for everyone to find out who is playing where.

I love country music & dancing and was always so frustrated in not knowing who was playing where. There is huge need for this service and it’s taken on a life of it’s own and continues to grow daily. Thank you to everyone including all the live country music fans that have liked and shared my website, I am truly grateful for all of you. Thank you to the incredible local talent for trusting me to be fair and getting you the exposure you deserve. And last but not least thank you to the venus who have been willing to support live music and give us amazing places to enjoy.

Over time I have learned that many of the musicians in our town have not been treated fairly. With Tucson Country Music you will find that all our local talent is treated with equality and respect. To keep things fair I have come up with the Tucson Country Music Code of Conduct to ensure all have an equal opportunity for success. I as well, will follow this Code of Conduct as it is how I conduct my business.

My platform will:
– Provide our community with easy access to event info
– Promote unity and encouragement between band/musicians
– List all events from bands/musicians that adhere to the Tucson Country Music Code of Conduct

Now for the roundup…

Wednesday

No-hat Wednesday was held at The Station Pub and Grill. With so much encouragement from the crowd no one is afraid to sing. I had a great time making priceless memories with my friends till close. Hope to see everyone this Wednesday for more of the same shenanigans.

Thursday

Thursday night featured Mark Insley & Damon Barnaby at Iron John’s Brewing Company. This classic country band is a must see that can really lay down some amazing songs. Look for them again this Thursday starting at 7:30.

Friday

Friday night OneSall played to their adoring fans at BarnFire Mesquite Grill. This classic rock and dance band really know how to get people on the dance floor. We are always so impressed with the amazing food and friendly staff at Barnfire. If you’ve never been there before the BarnFire Mesquite Grill is a must do for steak lovers! Look for J.R. Sandoval coming to BarnFire on Friday, July 5th at 6PM.

Afterwards I got to see Keila & Charles acoustic duo at The Station Pub and Grill. Keila really delivers on the vocals while Charles brings it home with his 6 string skills. Make sure to check out their video below which currently has over 700 views! You can check out this weekends lineup at The Station here.

I wrapped up Friday nights music events at the Outlaw Saloon with Southern Reins. They really packed the house with thier mix of contemporary and classic country music. I really appreciate their mix of dance songs with include two step, waltz and line dance favorites. Look for Southern Reins coming soon to BarnFire Mesquite Grill!

Saturday

Saturday started early… visiting Southern Reins at Camping World. Yes you heard that right, we stopped by Camping World Tucson and snuck in a dance next to Tucson Country Music’s Dream 32′ RV. This rig would be the perfect fit for Country Thunder AZ 2020!

Saturday night we met up with friends at the Outlaw Saloon and WildRide! Band to wish William a happy birthday. This place was full of dancers and a fun bunch of people just having a good ol time.

Afterwards we stopped by an East Side Honky Tonk for some good ol two steppin and even got to hear Jack Bishop.

Highway Outlaws was featured at Eddie’s Cocktails on the east side. There I finally got to meet this amazing band. They sounded great and played favorites from all the decades. Keep an eye out for more events from the Highway Outlaws.

Sunday

Mark Miller played to an intimate crowd at The Living Room. I even had the privilege of meeting Mark’s parents, they are a delightful couple. Mark comes from true country roots.

The weekend wrapped up with an amazing pizza from Bianchi’s North.

Hope everyone has a great week and we’ll see y’all on the dance floor!
